Porsche 911 Carrera 3.2 & Turbo 3.3 Buyers Guide. "Are you confident that you know all you need to before you buy a 911?" Why take a chance? The genuinely good Porsche 911 of this age are outnumbered by the poor. That's reality. Without experience or guidance it can be hard to tell which is which. Most will look good on the surface.......
This one could be a repaired wreck... There's no need for you to learn the hard way. Quickly, confidently be able to better check a used Porsche 911 Carrera 3.2 or Turbo 3.3 before you buy the wrong one ....
Plenty get repaired and not declared. It's profitable.. Easy to follow information with practical, concise, current and comprehensive advice... and no padding. Over 35 pages plus detailed pictures showing you exactly what to look for, where to look, the common faults, what to test, how to test it and what questions to ask. Much of the information and advice that I have read on the net, in magazines, books e.t.c. is at best incomplete, often out of date or simply impractical in real life. Just this month I read yet another magazine article something like 'The Ultimate Porsche Buyers Guide' ......and its just not nearly good enough. The article was superficial and hardly worth a read. " I have bought other 911 guides but been disappointed. I enjoyed yours tremendously and appreciated the sound, detailed advice." J.K.F. Switzerland. "I have recently purchased the 993 guide and can tell you that it is an excellent in depth analysis, beyond all comparison with some of the 'Boys Own' stuff that is also available!" Terry.H. U.K. As a dealer, I am looking for the same qualities as you, that is, to find the very best 911 for the lowest price....and this is where many of the buyers guides fail to deliver. "You may have to act very quickly and decisively to buy a good 911 because the best will be in demand." This 911 Carrera and Turbo 3.3 buyers guide will help you to quickly and easily identify the good from the bad, that's how I buy some of the best examples. It will give you the confidence to act decisively, whatever your level of experience. "Order now and shortcut the learning process."
"Despite my mechanical background I consider your notes a great tool even for professionals. Thanks to it I bought a superb 964, (07.93, 41000km). I would never had checked thoroughly that fast without your notes. M.C. Geneva." In this guide you will learn what you should do, the key questions to ask, how to make a thorough inspection and how to make a worthwhile test drive plus a lot more that few buyers know about. "I'm really getting some valuable insights that I hadn't from the other buyer's guide I bought." D.S. California. "Adrian - First off, I would like to say that I am loving your book on the 964. Its the most detailed information I have found thus far for the 964." Brian Rosentein U.K. Beware the pretty face....most 911 look good of course. But plenty of these eighties 911 can have hidden major problems and are to be avoided. Don't let me put you off buying. There are enough good, genuine 911 that will be worth their money. Just be aware that some are not what they seem. In your buyers guide you will find advice and tips that will help you reveal the truth. Here are just a few topics; Accident repairs; Of course many cars have accidents, usually its the insurance company paying for the repair and here lies the problem. They will be wanting the repair done as cheaply as possible. For a body shop its very easy to cut corners, to replace the outer panels and leave the 'inner structure' damaged or the corrosion protection compromised. Therefore it's vital that you as a buyer can decide if a 911 has been damaged, the quality of the repair and the true extent of that damage. I explain how you can almost always spot this in minutes. Corrosion; Yes 911 of this age can and do corrode. If you live in a hot climate you might not see this as often as we in Europe do. The bodies were galvanized from new and well protected, but some will be rusty in hidden areas. Also if a panel has been previously repaired, the continued integrity of the corrosion protection and galvanizing is often compromised. You will find out where to check. Clocking. Changing the true mileage. This is rather common, you will learn in your buyers guide several ways you can often uncover a clocked 911. It's not the usual advice about worn pedal rubbers and similar, after all they are only a few dollars to replace. I reveal some of the dirty tricks.... Service History. As you will appreciate the service history for a 911 is a valuable asset, but I have seen a fair number forged. Don't let this catch you out. Poor health. Clearly, because of their age these 911 will be in a variety of conditions, its important you know what you are really getting....and if there are big bills waiting. "Like you, I don't want to be conned and that's what this guide will help you avoid." You can find genuinely good 911 (not simply the pretty). They can be stunningly well preserved. You can find them with zero corrosion, with a good history, running strong, needing little more than a caring new home. These are the best ones to go for.
Gain the Advantage. You will undoubtedly have a clear advantage over the majority of other buyers when you order this buyers guide. An advantage that puts you in a much stronger position - to get a better deal. Follow the same easy step by step procedure and use the same techniques that I have successfully employed to buy really good 911 Carrera 3.2 an 911 Turbo 3.3 over the last 10 plus years. Comprehensive practical information. I cover the buying of a used Porsche comprehensively, from the first phone call through the inspection, test driving, history and negotiation...all from my own actual real life Porsche dealing experience. Pre purchase inspections......are to be recommended if you don't feel confident yourself and you have the time. But remember, you will still need to choose which 911 for sale is the best prospect for an inspection. "It's easy to waste 100's on having no hoper's inspected, when with a few key questions or a brief inspection you could have identified the no hoper."
I recommend these 1984 - 1989 Porsche 911. Good examples will provide you a great drive, reliability and low depreciation. They will be unbeatable fun to drive and probably make you a life time Porsche lover. The most important thing is to buy the right one in the right condition in the beginning. Good Porsche 911 Carrera 3.2 or 911 Turbo are not so expensive to run if you buy a good one in the beginning. Use a well respected Porsche specialist to take care of maintenance, keep it healthy, be kind to it and you will find another willing buyer when you want to move on. Are you guaranteed to get a perfect Porsche? No used car is perfect. There is always an element of risk buying any used car, but preparation can reduce your risk considerably. Why take a chance? A Cost or saving? My guide is not free, it's cost me 1000's to sometimes learn the hard way, and it's not the cheapest buyers guide. But what cost a little mistake when you are buying a Porsche, the smallest thing overlooked can be 100's. A Saving...for sure, when you buy this guide you will have a major advantage over most other sellers and buyers. If it saves one wasted journey it's paid for, and for many of my customers its saved 1000's. "Order now and reduce your risk."
"I have just read your book it will
more than pay for

Quite recently I drove a Carrera 3.2
Coupe back form Portugal to the UK, over some of the best open roads we
have in Europe (and fewer speed cameras), a journey of 2200km in 3 days.
It was great, and I would choose the same car again. You can read more (on
my other Porsche enthusiast site) about the
Porsche 911 Carrera , the
911 930 Turbo I 3.3
and my great road trip
across Europe in a 3.2 Coupe. More Porsche Resources on the web. Sell these Guides on your Porsche website. Do you have a Porsche site and want to improve your revenue? Click here for details of my affiliate program.
